Albert Evans Sr. founded Evans Delivery in 1939. Without the benefit of a high school
education, he created a successful organization that is thriving almost 70 years
later. Understanding the value of education, he later went on to acquire his GED.
While he didn't have the benefit of a formal education, he was a very educated person.
Among other things, he read the Wall Street Journal cover-to-cover every day. He
was a strong believer in the importance of education.
We have always been and will always be a family business. When a person works for
an Evans' company they, and their family, become a part of our family. That was
the belief of our founder, Albert L. Evans, Sr.
In his honor and memory, the Evans Network of Companies is proud to annually present
the Albert L. Evans, Sr. Scholarship Program to family members of our employees
and partner agents.
